It’s my birthday! Where to? One Another. No hesitation, this is my favourite cafe right now. For my birthday breakfast, I ordered a burrata with blood orange, marinated kumquats and roast macadamias doused in Grand Marnier. The burrata oozed out like a poached egg. That’s what I’m talking about. But I’m meant to be talking about coffee and BB.
Like my burrata, One Another is doused in hipster chic style and oozes alternative-cool Newtown vibes. Their service is both familiar and professional. Their BB is nowhere to be seen, but ask for it, and it arrives perfectly hot and fresh from the kitchen. Is that a hint of pear I can taste? It’s fantastic. Their coffee is well-balanced and delicious. One Another knows how to present themselves and bring it in all culinary respects. A jewel in the Newtown coffee crown.
