This little beach kiosk could practically be considered a real cafe, with its very decent kitchen and cafe-grade fare. I would normally expect a sub-par coffee somewhere like this, but this coffee is good (albeit too hot for the occasion – next time remind me to order an iced latte). My BB is also good (albeit slightly sandy, thanks to the toddler). The location, halfway between the Woollahra library/gallery and the beach below, provides plenty of tables and seating alongside the most amazing view of the harbour and city, while still being low-key, casual and low-cost. Absolutely stunning. If you don’t want to fork out the cash for an upscale waterfront brunch, come here: they hold high standards and deliver the kind of experience I would expect from a location like this. And you can just wear your cozzie 😉
