Pasture is a bit of a fancy place in a bit of a fancy location. Not quite fancy enough to be considered posh, but definitely fancier than your average suburban coffee place. Notice I didn’t use the word “cafe” – after having tried more enough “coffee places”, not everywhere that sells coffee is a cafe in my books. But Pasture certainly is, and it’s definitely a cut above, with excellent coffee, excellent banana bread and an excellent brunch menu to boot. The coffee, by Will & Co, was perfectly pulled and milked just right. The banana bread was lightly crispy on the outside, soft and smooth on the inside, with a nice, fresh banana flavour. Pasture serves a quality banana bread that delivers everything you want, although it’s missing that unique charm that you only find in banana breads that have been baked in-house. I’ve definitely had this one before, but I’m not disappointed – it’s fantastic. With such a stunning location and impeccable service too, Pasture is one professional outfit.
